George Remus Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Creating one of Prohibition's most successful operations, George Remus was the King of the Bootleggers (and the inspiration for the Great Gatsby).

George Remus Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a high-rye style bourbon featuring multiple mash bills to create complexity and a layering effect on the palate. Aged 5-7 years and non-chill filtered, the award-winning George Remus Bourbon is distilled in an historic 170-year old distillery.

Aroma: Rye toast and cinnamon with vanilla, caramel, maple, cherries and cream provide a complex aroma profile. Rye spice, cocoa/chocolate mingle in the aroma's finish.

Palate: Major flavours of rye spice, caramel, vanilla, dried and candied fruit. Sweetness is pronounced on the palate, with hints of toffee and cinnamon. The body is complex with vanilla, caramel, fruit, cocoa and cream layered throughout.

Finish: Rye spice and whiff of campfire smoke on the finish.
